It’s A Good Thing

I’m not a Dodgers fan at all, but I’m glad they won the World Series. I sincerely hope they win every World Series from here until the economic system in baseball more closely resembles the other major sports leagues. As a fan of a smaller market team, I’m sincerely losing interest in the whole thing. Yes, the Pirates are mismanaged. But so what?

In football, you can build a dynasty in Kansas City. In basketball, fans in San Antonio and Milwaukee have a lot to be excited about. In hockey, you can build a dynasty in Edmonton. In baseball, even if a small market team like Florida or Kansas City wins it all, they have to burn it all down because they can’t afford their players anymore. So go Dodgers! The more people drift away from the game, the better.

Coming Soon To Your Ears…

Rooster Sauce originals! Although the project was always intended to be a cover band, Liz and I could only hold off on writing for so long. We’ve already written three original songs that we’ve played at Rooster Sauce shows, and have more in the pipeline. This isn’t the progressive rock of some of our other projects. Rooster Sauce shows are based on fun memorable songs, and we’ve tried to inject that spirit into the songs we’re writing. We’re hoping to get at least one released this year, but no promises. Here’s some info on the songs we may perform at a gig near you:

I Don’t Want to be A Tender – A rooster’s anthem.

Antique Purgatory – A true story of shopping and strained love.

Fondue and Wine – Written as a tribute to our frequent performance space, C’est Cheese.

Which is Worse?

A lot has been written about how the AI slop taking over the internet can make people believe things that just aren’t true. But what about the opposite case? There’s so much AI generated garbage floating around that when I saw news of the Rush reunion I didn’t believe it. Not one little bit.
