Just finished watching “The Substance,” and I have been cured of ever wanting to watch all Best Picture nominees.
There have been some negative trends over the past few years, but all in all the worst has to be commercials for movie trailers. Spend a few bucks, buy a two minute spot and let us watch the trailer. I’ll go to one thing, the movie itself, or my computer to watch the trailer.
We watched the first episode of Dexter: Original Sin last night. It’s a prequel to the original Dexter series, and we meet younger versions of a lot of the characters we knew from that show. And I can’t help but think it feels a little like watching Muppet Babies.
